WHO WE ARE

Company founder and Broker, Tony “C” also holds the title “Chief Problem Solver.” A lifelong Fredericktonian with an encyclopedic knowledge of the people and properties that comprise our county, Tony takes pride in creatively resolving problems for his clients to realize their goals.

Tony is a graduate of Mt. St. Mary’s University where he earned a double major (Economics/Spanish) and a minor (Accounting).  Since his real estate career began in the fall of 1989, Tony has consistently been recognized as an industry leader since being recognized as the Rookie of the Year by the Frederick County Association of Realtors (FCAR) in 1990 to 2018, when he was awarded the FRED (Frederick Real Estate Dealmaker) Award for the Broker of the Year by the Frederick County Office of Economic Development.

Tony’s community involvement and volunteerism run deep. Tony currently serves on the Board of Directors of the FCAR and will serve as the organization’s president in 2022.  He is a past member of the Frederick Community College Foundation Board, the Frederick County Tourism Board, the Frederick County Business and Industry Cabinet as well as the Vice Chair of the Frederick City Historic Preservation Commission.   A member of the Rotary Club of Frederick since 2000, Tony has served on its Board of Directors, served a term as President, and was recognized as the youngest Rotary Club of Frederick Fellow, the group’s most prestigious award.

His entrepreneurial spirit led him to acquire and redevelop the Frederick Sportsplex into the Frederick Indoor Sports Center (FISC), a now thriving 65,000 sq. ft. indoor sports, training, and events facility.  He currently lives at the River’s Edge Farm along the Monocacy River with his wife, four children and the family dog Banks.

When he is not working, Tony enjoys spending time with family in OBX or on the farm mowing grass or enjoying a bonfire along the river.

Maria Boffman, a seasoned professional, became an integral part of VCRE.CO (Verita Commercial Real Estate) in 2016. Currently heading the Property Management division, Maria holds a license that allows her to provide clients with expert guidance on their investment endeavors.

Prior to her tenure at VCRE.CO, Maria showcased her skills at CarMax, where she served as a Senior Sales Consultant. In this role, she played a pivotal part in consulting clients on aspects related to selling, purchasing, and financing.

Maria is an alumna of Montgomery College and has been a lifelong resident of Frederick County. Beyond her professional achievements, she finds fulfillment in activities such as cooking, quality family time, and exploring new destinations through travel. Maria, alongside her husband Daryl, resides in Adamstown and cherishes their life together with their six children.

Justin Saltzman wears two hats at VCRE.CO: one as the Business Development Manager and the other as a Sales Associate. Justin generates new business development opportunities and develops, coordinates and implements plans designed to identify and capture new business connections.

He carefully prospects new developers and businesses, creates proposals and makes presentations to new business owners.  He is instrumental in negotiating strategic partnerships with new developers, as well as project managers and related agencies.

With his deep connections to the community, Justin represents VCRE.CO at networking and business events. He initiates and maintains strong and productive client relationship management strategies and tactics to ensure continuous development of other contracts, and referrals.

Justin is a life-long resident of Frederick County and graduate of Frederick Community College (2005).  He has been an active member of The Rotary Club of Frederick for five years.  He served as Sergeant at Arms (a function which he graciously served for one year).  In 2014, he was selected as one of thirty young professionals country-wide to attend a summit in Chicago.  He has represented the club in Atlanta, Myrtle Beach, High Point North Carolina, and Seoul, South Korea. In 2016, he was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow.

Justin has also served on Frederick County Chamber of Commerce’s young professionals group called Generation Connect for 5 years, and as an ambassador. Currently, he is a member of the development committee for the Community Foundation, and an ambassador for the Mental Health Association,

Justin lives in Walkersville with his wife, Autumn, and niece Mackenzie.

Meet Amos Martin, Associate Broker with VCRE.CO. Amos has called Frederick home since 1987 and has a passion for small business, entrepreneurship, and finance. He obtained his real estate license in 2016 after spending nearly 15 years as a small business owner and entrepreneur. Currently, he has met the standards and qualifications to sit for the exam in April 2025 to become a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Commercial Real Estate’s most coveted credential. Furthermore, Amos is an active Member Associate of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), a professional symbol of the highest level of knowledge, production, and ethics in the Commercial Real Estate industry.

Amos currently serves as a Director on the Board of Directors for the Frederick County Building Industry Association. He served five years on the Board of Directors, and currently serves as a Past-President of the Frederick County Association of REALTORS. Amos has also served as a Director at the State level on the Board of Directors for the Maryland Association of Realtors. He is a graduate of the MD REALTORS Leadership Academy and a graduate of the REALTOR Institute. Amos was named rookie of the year by the Frederick County Association of REALTORS in 2017 and REALTOR of the Year in 2023.

When he’s not at work you can either find him spending time with his wife and daughter, on the family farm in Middletown, or on the racquetball courts at the
downtown Frederick YMCA.
